These terms govern participation in the 2027 Innovative Teacher Competition. By registering and submitting an entry on this website, you agree to them.
1. Eligibility
The competition is open to practising educators in the participating countries. Each participant takes part in their own country's local competition; winners advance to the regional round.
2. Registration & Accounts
You must create an account on this website and verify your email address to participate. Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Submissions
One entry per participant. Each submission must include a completed lesson plan (using the official template) and, for any person appearing in photos or video, a signed media release form. A classroom video is optional and earns bonus points.
Entries may be edited until your country's submission deadline, after which they lock. Submitted work must be your own and must not infringe any third party's rights.
4. Judging
Entries are scored by an assigned panel of judges against the official rubric: Educational Impact (40%), Technology Integration (30%), Innovation (20%), plus up to 10 bonus points. Judges' decisions are final.
5. Prizes & Recognition
Winners receive the recognition and awards announced for the current edition. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. Winners may be required to verify eligibility before an award is confirmed.
6. Content License & Media Rights
Submitted lesson plans are shared under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0) license so other educators may benefit. You grant the organizers an irrevocable right to use submitted media (images, video) for the competition and its promotion. Where minors appear, a parent or guardian must sign the media release form.
7. Code of Conduct
Participants must act honestly and respectfully. Plagiarism, misrepresentation, or any attempt to manipulate registration, submission, or judging may result in disqualification and removal of the account.
8. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the competition evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page; continued participation after an update means you accept the revised terms.
